Me and my wife had lunch there this past Friday and everything was just awesome! When we arrived there at noon the restaurant was full and we were wondering how long it would take to get seated. Well the nice lady that greeted us at the front door took our name and told us it would only be about 10- minutes. Since the place was so full, we were skeptical about that and thought we would be waiting at least 30- minutes. Well let me assure you it was less than 10- minutes and we were seated and ordering our lunch! The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and we had our plates on the table in less than 10-minutes after we put our order in! I had the 1/2 smoked chicken, slaw, and baked beans and the bbq was the best I have had in a very long time. My wife enjoyed her pulled chicken sandwich that was piled high and fresh hand cut large portion of fries. They offered 3- different flavors of sauce(original, spicy, and a mustard sauce)all were just wonderful! If you are not in the mood fore BBq, have had meat and 3 specials also. After our lunch the owner visited with us and informed us that the Friday night menu included smoke prime rib and fried catfish! The only sad part was when he told us they are only open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for lunch and dinner. If you happen to be close to Bowden, Georgia on the days listed they are open you really need to stop in and have a wonderful meal with these down home family people. This was a great experience and we will definitely be back soon! John Mark and Lois Sims

I have ate at a lot of BBQ restaurants in west Georgia and this one is one of the best. The smell of smoked pork hits when you walk towards the door and in the building. The sauce is great, with vinegar and meshes well with the pork. Nothing we had was overly greasy and the restaurant was clean and tidy.
